Samsung just recently released its new November 2024 security patch update with factory-unlocked for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, including Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra models in the U.S. Previously this patch was available to carrier-locked models that solves 51 major security issues for more safety on the device.
As the new patch update notifies, you will see the update with firmware versions S911U1UES5CXI8 for the Galaxy S23, S916U1UES5CXI8 for the Galaxy S23+, and S918U1UES5CXI8 for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. You can find the update by heading to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and install, or you can also download firmware files from the database if you are likely to install it yourself.
There are no new features or performance adjustments this time. The new patch is only for security purposes. Meanwhile, there’s a silver lining: We can expect that One UI 7.0 running Android 15 is around the corner. Hopefully, it will introduce new Samsung Galaxy S23 series features soon.
